The Ford Ranger Super Duty has a maximum braked towing capacity of 4,500kg2.
The Ford Ranger Super Duty is powered by a 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine – a proven performer from the Ranger line-up. For Ranger Super Duty, it’s been specially calibrated and paired with a redesigned cooling system to help maintain optimal performance under heavy loads.
The Ford Ranger Super Duty will be covered by the same 5-year factory warranty as the rest of the Ranger line-up. That means you’ll get all the OEM-engineered and designed features of Ranger Super Duty, backed by the confidence of Ford’s 5-year warranty.
Every new Ford Ranger Super Duty comes with Ford’s standard 5-year/unlimited km warranty. For vehicles with a warranty start date on or after 1 September 2026, this can be extended to 7 years if every scheduled service is completed on time by an Authorised Ford Dealer.

- Maximum towing capacity braked using Genuine Ford tow equipment. Does not include tow ball-available at additional cost. Subject to State and Territory regulations. To comply with these limits, any load transported by the vehicle may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits.
- Gross Vehicle Mass is the maximum allowable weight of a vehicle including any load transported by the vehicle, including tow ball down weight of a trailer but excluding the weight of a trailer itself. GCM is the maximum allowable weight of the vehicle and its trailer. Subject to state and territory regulations. Stated vehicle weights are approximate and subject to individual variances. Vehicles should be weighed before and after adding any load to ensure the maximum GVM, GCM and Gross Axle Weight Ratings are not exceeded.

Minimum Kerb Weight includes the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, without occupants, luggage or cargo and with the lightest possible orderable combination of factory options. Minimum Kerb Weight excludes tray. Payload (based on Minimum Kerb Weight) is the maximum combined value of occupants, cargo, added accessories, added structures and tow ball download (when towing). Vehicle weights are approximate and subject to individual variances. Vehicles should be weighed before and after adding additional load, accessories or towing a trailer to ensure the maximum Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), Gross Combined Mass (GCM) and Gross Axle Weight Ratings are not exceeded.

- Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
- Maximum water wading 850mm maintaining steady speed of 7km/h or less. Always consult the Owner’s Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear. Do not attempt a water crossing if you are unsure of the water depth.
- 7 Year Conditional Warranty applies to new and demonstrator vehicles delivered from 1 September 2026. All services must be completed at a Ford dealer within servicing intervals. Warranty exclusions and conditions apply and can be viewed here. Warranty Period commences on the date of delivery except where the vehicle is a demonstration vehicle, in which case it commences on the date on which it was first registered by a Ford dealer. Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This warranty does not limit and may not exceed your rights under the consumer guarantees.
